Experience: Megan attended Toni and Guy Hair Academy in 2010. Class with Jane Matthews of EDO salon fame. She loves expanding her skill set with continuing education. With top notch makeup artistry skills after training under Jasmine, owner of Blossoming Beauty, she is also a wedding specialist.

Specialties: Foilyage, Balayage, highlights and all things to do with Lived In natural blondes and brunettes. Megan loves creating low maintenance, everyday hair!

Experience: Megan started in the photography world as a freelance stylist in the Bay Area. They happily transitioned to behind the chair almost 12 years ago. Megan has honed her craft as a blonde specialist focusing in lived in color techniques. They work with all hair textures and loves precision and texturized cuts. After completing her education at the Aveda Institute, Megan perused immersive training with renown Toni and Guy. She continues to take advanced classes to stay inspired and current.

Specialties: Blonding services, balayage and hair painting, grey coverage, transformational color and low maintenance lived in color and haircuts.

Experience: With 15 years of diverse experience, Manda can create it all! As a leading hairdresser in the Pacific Northwest, Manda is a destination stylist for clients both in Portland and Seattle.

Specialties: Manda has curated a specific skill set for edgy and unconventional hair. They are an influencer for trending looks that aren’t for the faint of heart. They’ve worked backstage at endless major hair trade shows with industry icons and created hair for top designers at LA Fashion Week and beyond. JUNIOR STYLIST

Experience: Ellie has been our salon assistant while they our going throughout training program. They are CEZANNE SMOOTHING TREATMENT certified. They have gone through extensive cut training through our in house educational program and are constantly pursuing additional training.

Specialties: They cut curls and bobs and bangs and can tame a head with a fabulous blowout! Come see them as they are driven, eager and ready!

Experience: Soon after graduating from the Paul Mitchell School in 2015, Kasey apprenticed under NIEUW’s education director, Dee Yu, for two years. Always hungry for knowledge, she has honed her skills in cutting, coloring, and wavy/curly textures through advanced courses from industry leaders including Sema Marie, Ashlee Norman, Atoya Bass, Shannel Mariano, and Nick Arrojo.

Specialties: Kasey is an amazing communicator with an innate ability to make guests feel comfortable in her chair and listen to their needs.

Experience: Dee is our Education Director and has over 16 years of experience as a stylist, colorist, and national educator. She is an experienced haircutting specialist that excels in creating tailored styles on thick, coarse, and curly hair. Dee prioritizes the integrity and health of the hair, preferring a gentle and holistic approach to hair care and styling.

Specialties: Precision haircuts, cutting coarse/thick hair, natural curly hair care, ammonia/PPD-free hair color, and non-toxic smoothing treatments.

Experience: Cherie was originally a painting major at the Rhode Island School of Design before pursuing her career behind the chair. She trained and worked in San Francisco before moving to Portland after starting a family. Cherie has worked with many inspiring stylists and continues to hone her skills with continuing education.

Specialties: Cherie has a knack for working with each guest’s individual texture to give them a style that is right for them. She is also skilled in cutting short hair.

Experience: With over 15 years of experience, Aryn has been involved in all aspects of the industry. Hair for music videos, concerts, celebrities, fashion shoots and runways, Aryn loves being behind the chair in the salon most. Having trained with world-renowned names in the industry, Celebrity stylist Charlie le Mindu, Vidal Sassoon, Deva Curl, L'Oréal, Redken, and more, she is well versed in many approaches an styles. As the owner of NIEUW Hair Space, Aryn strives to create cool, gorgeous, and easy hair in a beautiful, modern space.

Specialties: Enhancing wavy and curly hair of varying densities. Problem-solving hair challenges with tailored cutting, styling, and/or product recommendations. Color that looks cover ready, yet is easy to maintain.
